From an accountant's perspective an "asset" can be defined as something tangible or intangible, and of a quality that which is owned and of value. From my point of view, the most important asset of value that one can own is the best condition of their health and fitness maintained through an active lifestyle of exercise and healthy diet; both of which are known to be of importance in longevity and quality of life, and especially in our senior years.
My lifelong interest in cycling started over 50 years ago. Since then, I've surpassed 100,000 miles of road cycling in my lifetime, including racing when I was young. Augmented with running and strength training, cycling has always been my most important activity in building and maintaining my fitness goals which I developed from my interest in and learning about exercise physiology throughout my life.
But more than that, cycling has also been a great way to travel in new places and countries and experience the scenic beauty and culture of a region; my favorite being destinations in Europe attending the various pro cycling races there.
My Other Interests as a Lifelong Cyclist

* Demonstrate commitment to mental health advocacy through the use of sport to break stigmas.
* Provide youth development in mentorship, skill-building, and positive peer connections.
* Foster community engagement through leading clinics, school visits, and initiatives to connect with local communities in promoting healthier and more inclusive environments.
