Enlightened solutions within your grasp
As from my personal perspective: Prioritizing health and fitness through an active lifestyle of physical conditioning is known to be an important factor in maintaining both life longevity and functional quality, well into our senior years. Fitness activity habits are best developed young, then carried throughout a lifetime. So, I support young people making healthy fitness choices.
My lifelong interest in cycling as an endurance sport started over 50 years ago, having now surpassed 100,000 miles of road cycling, including racing when I was young. Augmented with running and strength training, cycling is my most important activity in building and maintaining my fitness objectives.
But more than that, cycling is also an immersive way to travel in new places and countries with all the senses engaged. It is to experience the connection to geography, scenic beauty, and the culture of a region. Unmatched by other modes of travel, it is unscripted, quiet simplicity and exploration in respectful ways. Among some of my favorite cycling in Europe, touring and pro cycling racing events.
